Dougie, as all his friends knew him, was a highly accomplished rugby player and professional sailor.  Throughout his remarkable life, you could always find him coaching others and sharing his passion to help others succeed.   

This scholarship is created in his memory to support sailing and rugby youth as they pursue national and international competition and/or to develop youth for such competition.
